Daily Designs. Icons #Canvas Series

This one, I've been wanting to get done up for a while.  I call it "Icons" because it features two of my favourite basketball players of all time and also the two players to have the most overall cultural impact on the game.  This picture personifies the passing of the torch and the meeting of two different but dominant styles.  And Allen Iverson has always said that Michael Jordan was a huge influence on him.

If you're familiar, there is a great teacher, student vibe to the pic.  I like the old Philly 76ers uniform and the fact that it's a young Allen Iverson fresh out of college rocking my favourite kicks of all time.

I went with clearing the background in the pick to make them the focus and minimalize the noise so that the impression of a great duel is given.

I like the way it came out and I can't wait to print it up and rock it.

Daily Designs: Freestyle Session's "Gully" Shirt.

I suck at computer stuff so I don't know how to get this image into the post but if you go to the following link https://www.freestylesession.com/products/armory-gully-t-shirt you will see the shirt that I coveted back twelve or so years ago and disappeared from the internet on me.

If I remember correctly it was a series of team logo style shirts featuring a street theme and this was my favourite one.  It's very well done from the drawing and that upside-down triangle and the font.

For the uninitiated, "gully" was a term used back in the late '90s that was used in place of "ghetto" from time to time.  Seagulls, having a tendency to be viewed as scavenger-type, dumpster-diving birds are the perfect mascot for that type of vibe hence the term "gully".

Anyway, I've always wanted this shirt and now I've finally found it again.

Daily Designs - "It Ain't Hard To Tell" #CanvasSeries

This ironic print is based on my favourite track of all time by, probably my favourite rapper of all time.

The background is yellow in the picture but according to the actual mock-up it should actually come out black.

I'm not a fan of black clothing but sometimes it just works out.
